principals. This month, the Starr Alliance Showcase is featuring Gourmet Baker.
Gourmet Baker is a leading manufacturer and marketer of baked and unbaked desserts
and breakfast pastries to the foodservice and in-store bakery channels in Canada.
The company has developed a reputation for delivering high quality and value products,
as evidenced by its long standing customer relationships. Products include sheetcakes,
nanaimo bars, decorated cakes, cheesecakes, baked and unbaked croissants, puff pastries,
danish pastries, cinnamon buns and crumpets.
Gourmet Baker’s head office is located in Burnaby, British Columbia. The company has three
manufacturing facilities in Canada, two in Burnaby, B.C. and one in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In addition,
it has three main distribution centres, located in Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver. These major
centres allow Gourmet Baker to service both national and regional needs efficiently.
